Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Ascend Higher (the “Service”) operated by Ascendapp LLC (“Ascend,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Ascend Is — and Isn’t

Ascend Higher is a personal growth, life organization, goal-tracking, habit-building, and AI mentorship application. It is not therapy, medical care, mental-health diagnosis or treatment, financial advice, legal advice, or crisis support, and is not a substitute for licensed professionals. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Current plans: Basic $8.88/month or $98.88/year; Advanced $28.88/month or $308.88/year.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions grant access for the paid period (30 or 365 days).
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Prices, features, or plan structure may change with reasonable notice.

4. Free Trial

New users may receive a 3-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial. The trial ends automatically; you must choose a paid plan to continue.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In general, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support@ascendhigher.life for good-faith requests.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not use Ascend to: (a) harm yourself or others; (b) generate illegal content; (c) infringe rights; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service; (e) submit information that is not yours to share.

7. AI Content & Accuracy

Ascend uses third-party AI models to produce suggestions, prompts, and roadmaps. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Use judgment. We do not guarantee specific outcomes and are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, design, and content are owned by Ascendapp LLC and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us a limited license to use it to operate and improve the Service for you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or deliver specific results. Outcomes depend on your effort and circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascendapp LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law. You may cancel or delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue is Salt Lake County, Utah, unless your local law requires otherwise.
